About Me

How I got into level editing
I am relatively new to map editing. It all began when I bought UT, still one of my favorite games. UT got me into FPS games, which later got me into map editing. However UT's level editor would never start up so I never made a map for UT and never will because even though the level editor works, it sucks.

Later on I got ST:Voy Elite Force, superb game. I waited anxiously for the GDK to be released so I could get on making maps, having only previously mucked about with the simplistic Warcraft II level editor and then AOE's level editor this was a big thing. I hastily downloaded the GDK and a beginners intro tutorial. I got to work with my first map - a hollow cube. It sucked, I was overwhelmed and left it for a month or so.
One rainy day I was bored and though I would give level editing a go again. I spent 3 hours finding a decent tutorial. It turned out to be a success and I made my first two room, one hallway map! I have never looked back.

I have since made maps for Q3 mostly, reason being GtkRadiant kicks a$$, along with Q3's textures. I still have a long way to go before I am at the standard of top-quality professional level editors, but I will get there with your support!

Ambition
To become a level editor for either Raven or id.
